Firearms Licence Renewal Year 2025/2026 (Feb 2025) - Announcement dated 19th Feb 2025
Dear Members,
Please take note members who posses Gun Licence under PL district/(Timur Laut district) are required to undergo their annual shooting proficiency training tests for the renewal of firearm license for year 2025/2026 of which will be conducted by IPD police officers as follows:-
Date : 15th (Tue) to 17th April 2025 (Thu)
Time : 9:00am to 1:00pm
Venue : Penang Rifle Club

Notice of Closure of Shooting Range (Feb 2025) - Dated 12th Feb 2025
Dear all Members,
Our range will be closed on the following day for government department shoot, members are advised not to practise shooting on the said date.
Date : 26th Feb 2025 (Wed)
Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Time : 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
However, the Club's office is open as usual.
Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted.

Please be informed that the Annual Subscription fee of RM 500.00 for year 2025 is due on 31st Mar 2025, Club's Carry & Use License fee of RM 80.00 and Application for Club's Kad Senjatapi (3A) of RM 30.00 (Cash Only) for the year 2025/2026.
Members are advised to pay the subscription fee and get their access card updated at the same time.
Please note that the membership card / auto gate access card will not be accessible after 1st April 2025.

Announcement - Dated 25th Sep 2024
Dear all Members,
Please be informed that the contractor for The Penang Hill Corporation's Cable Car project has notified our Club that they would commence their construction work on 15th October 2024 till 30th June 2026.
Meanwhile, all vehicles will not be allowed to enter the construction vicinity or road leading to it. However, they have kindly consented to allow Penang Rifle Club members' vehicles entering into the Club.
Members are therefore advised to bring their membership card and present to the guard post each time they wish to drive into the Club.
We greatly appreciate their gesture and ask our members to cooperate with their staff on duty.
